PPWR document kit: declarations and technical documentation for all your packaging

List your packaging types once. The kit writes, for each one, the EU declaration of conformity in the official wording of every language you sell in, and the technical documentation of Annex VII with the requirements of Articles 5 to 12 and your answers, as Word files you can edit and sign.

Manufacturer (your company)
Authorised representative (optional)

Only if you have appointed one by written mandate. Leave empty otherwise.

Packaging types

Packaging type 1
Your reference, item number or code for this packaging type.
Type, material, size, what it holds: enough to trace it.
Harmonised standards, common specifications or other technical specifications. Leave empty if none; the declaration then says TO COMPLETE.
For example Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 for food-contact materials.
Your own reference. Left empty, the packaging identification is used.
For example: paperboard 300 g/m², PE coating.
Who tested, report number, date.
Requirements of Articles 5 to 12

For each article: does it apply to this packaging, and how is it met, or why not? Several start later or after implementing acts; note the date that applies. Unanswered ones are marked TO COMPLETE.

Languages of the declarations (your countries of sale)

Nothing you type is sent anywhere. Your business details stay in this browser for next time.

What is in the files

  • a declaration per packaging type and language, on the model of Annex VIII, in the Official Journal's wording;
  • the technical documentation per packaging type, point by point along Annex VII: description and intended use, materials, standards and specifications, the assessments of Articles 6, 10 and 11, test reports;
  • a table of Articles 5 to 12 (substances, recyclability, recycled content, biobased feedstock, compostability, minimisation, reuse, labelling) with your answer for each: applies and how it is met, or does not apply and why.

What the kit does not do

It does not assess your packaging and never writes that a requirement is met. Whatever you leave empty is marked TO COMPLETE. Several requirements apply only from later dates or after implementing acts; the Packaging Regulation page lists them.

Only one packaging type? The free declaration generator writes the declaration for it.

Nothing you type leaves your browser; the files are built on your device. Templates, not legal advice.
