What the kit contains
- for each product: the technical documentation and internal risk analysis of Article 9(2), walking through the eight aspects of Article 6(1);
- for each product: the label text and the online listing text (Articles 9(5)-(7) and 19), in the languages of your countries of sale;
- for your company: the written mandate for an authorised representative (Article 10), the register of complaints and recalls (Article 9(12)) and a recall notice template (Article 36).
What it does not do
It does not assess your product, test it, or say that it is safe or compliant. Where you leave something out, the file says TO COMPLETE instead of making it up. You still need an economic operator in the EU (Article 16): an importer, an authorised representative or a fulfilment service provider.
Your data
The files are built in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or stored by us; only the payment goes through Dodo Payments, which sells the kit as merchant of record.
The free tools stay free: label, mandate, recall notice and complaint register, one at a time, to print or copy.
